You can now get the Honor 10 smartphone for £285

It’s no secret that the Honor 10 is an awesome smartphone.  It received positive reviews from just about every tech mag and newspaper in the UK.  Packing premium features, it takes on iPhones and Samsungs head on for less than a third of the average price. And the good news is that it’s just had a price drop.

The team at Mobiles.co.uk have just dropped the price to £285 with free delivery. That’s a serious bargain when you think this phone launched less than a year ago at £400 and by far the cheapest Honor 10 price in the UK today, with others still at £300 or higher.

The Honor 10 has a glass front and back, the glass on the back is curved and the phone’s edge is polished metal. This basically means it feels exactly like a Samsung Galaxy S9 or S10 in the hand.  Aside from the recently launched Honor View 20, it’s the most premium-feeling Honor phone yet.

Honor 10
The Honor 10 received positive reviews all round at launch and can now be had for £285

It packs a 5.84 inch LCD screen that covers most of the front of the device, apart from the fingerprint senor at the bottom and a notch in the screen at the top that houses the front-facing selfie camera, the earpiece speaker and a sensor.

The screen is bright and colourful, not quite at the level of the Huawei P20 Pro‘s OLED but it still looks great.

The fingerprint scanner on the front is a standout feature as most scanners are capacitive but the Honor 10’s uses the same ultrasonic tech you get in a Samsung Galaxy S10.  This means it’s totally flush with the screen and not separate or raised from the glass front.  You’re also getting a headphone jack which is becoming a rarer and rarer sight.

Of course, at this price you’re not going to get every single feature offered by the top end Samsungs and iPhones but it comes pretty close. Not that there’s no wireless charging (I have this on my iPhone and rarely use it, not even sure where my wireless charger is now) and there’s no water resistance.  That aside though, the Honor 10 is arguably the best phone you can get right now at this price.

You can buy the Honor 10 SIM Free and unlocked at Mobiles.co.uk here.  If you’d prefer to buy it on a pay monthly contract, you can get it from £22 a month with no upfront cost.
