Be like Neo. The Nokia 8110 Matrix phone is now £29.99.

Okay, Neo rocked a special black version but we like the yellow.

Nearly year after winning Mobile World Congress for a second year in a row, Nokia’s cool-looking, retro slider phone; the 8110, has just received a massive price drop courtesy of the good people at EE.

You can now grab the Nokia 8110 in yellow for just £29.99 when you top up £10.  That is such a ridiculous bargain, even if you just want to collect a piece of mobile phone history and show the kids.  It also serves well as a second phone or if you fancy a digital detox from your super-powered, app-packed smartphone.  The black version is available to but that version is £44.99.

The Nokia 8110 is 4G compatible with a unique curved design which you can slide open and shut to make and receive calls (and look cool doing it).  One of the big standout features is the 25 days standby time, thanks to the impressive battery life.  An ideal phone if you’re travelling a lot or heading of to festivals this summer.

We’ve no idea how much stock EE have left so if you’re going to grab this one get it soon as it could disappear pretty quick at this price.  Head here to buy yours.
