Stock inevitably runs short at launch time, but there are more places than ever to pre-order iPhone from now.
At a media-packed launch event in California this week Apple unveiled the latest iPhone models; iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Max. All three are available to pre-order in the UK from 1pm on Friday September 13th, with the phones officially launching on Friday 20th September.
When the very first iPhone launched there was only one mobile network you could buy it from; O2. That’s no longer the case, with the iPhone now available to buy from all major networks, a number of MVNOs, and a whole host of UK retailers both online and on the high street.
With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of the best places to order your shiny new iPhone 11 from, including who they are and some of the perks you get from them. All of these will have the iPhone 11 models available to pre-order from 1pm Friday September 13th.
EE have recently launched unlimited data plans, plus they offer a host of extra perks when you join including six months free Apple Music.
Vodafone are probably the best known mobile network in the world. In addition to unlimited data plans, they also offer inclusive Spotify or Sky Sports Mobile with selected price plans.
The original kings of unlimited data and self-proclaimed ‘mobile network for internet users’. Three have some great unlimited plans plus their Wuntu app which gets you discounts and freebies from well known retailers.
O2 and Sean Bean have been wooing customers for years with O2 Priority, a set of perks that give you early access to concert tickets and discounts from well know retailers. They’ve also just launched unlimited data plans today.
An MVNO powered by Three’s network, iD have a wide range of phones, plus some cracking SIM only deals.
Fonehouse are available online, plus they have a number of stores around the UK. They are rated Excellent on TrustPilot and were voted ‘uSwitch Best Newcomer of the Year’. They have offers available on Three, Vodafone and EE.
Mobile Phones Direct
One of the first online-only mobile retailers, Mobile Phones Direct offers competitive deals from EE, Three, O2 and Vodafone. They’re rated Excellent on TrustPilot.
A well established online retailer with a TrustPilot rating of Excellent and a huge range of phones, BuyMobiles.net have plans available from EE, Three, O2 and Vodafone.
Available on most high streets but also online, Carphone Warehouse offer EE, Vodafone, O2, Virgin Mobile and their own MVNO called iD.
An online-only retailer with a wide range of phones, SIM only plans and cashback and free gift deals.
Online and on some high streets, order from Apple if you want your device SIM Free. You can pay upfront but they also offer finance where you can pay in monthly instalments.
Not all retailers will have the same deals, with some offers higher cost per month plans but with a minimal upfront and others offering a larger upfront cost which will reduce your monthly bill. Offers will start to go live on the above sites from Friday 1pm plus we’ll have a full round up and comparison of the best deals here at Direct Mobiles.
