Samsung Galaxy S22 Launch Event Confirmed For February

The manufacturer is expected to unveil the new Galaxy S22 series of smartphones.

Well the rumours (and those many supposed leaks) seem to have some truth about them as Samsung have now officially confirmed a Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 9th at 3pm UK time (10am ET).

The invites sent out to press and published online include an accompanying animation containing an ‘S’ and ’22’ – what could it mean?! ‘The Epic Standard’ is the strapline the South Korean manufacturer is using for the event which is widely rumoured to include the launch of the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra.

Samsung have also hinted at some Galaxy Note features crossing over to the S-Series so expect possible S-Pen support – will the S22 Ultra become the new Note? Potentially exciting for Note fans as the S22 Ultra could be their new Galaxy Note upgrade.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube and Samsung’s official website and the models are expected to be available for pre-order shortly after. No doubt Samsung will also be offering their usual gifts or accessories for customers that pre-order.
