Carphone Warehouse Announces Exclusive Launch of Huawei Mate 30 Pro

UK Huawei fans will finally be able to get their hands on the Mate 30 Pro.

In exciting news for Huawei fans, Carphone Warehouse has announced that it is partnering with Huawei to bring their highly anticipated Mate 30 Pro to the UK, launching later this month. The phone arrived in the Chinese market back in September of 2019 and was met with a huge fan and critical approval, despite not having access to the Google Mobile Services.

This is one of the most high-spec smartphones on the market, with many features that are sure to excite Huawei and Android fans across the UK. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro looks and performs like no other phone available, with its iconic OLED HUAWEI Horizon display offering an impressive and immersive viewing experience, while its powerful Kirin 990 SoC provides unrivalled levels of performance and efficiency.

The phone also offers some impressive customisation options, such as the Intuitive Side-touch feature. This allows the volume button layout to be changed to a virtual layout, earning the product versatility in its user experience.

Huawei has also ensured that photography fans will be satisfied with the revolutionary integrated quad-camera featuring a futuristic halo ring design, which also includes a SuperSensing Cine Camera for even more breathtaking photos, echoing DLSR cameras used by professional photographers.

Huawei also ensures its customers get to enjoy the phone’s revolutionary features for an incredible duration of time, through the use of its Huawei SuperCharge and EMUI10; both features ensure long-lasting battery life for heavy mobile users.

As with previous Huawei smartphones, the Mate 30 Pro offers users the option to charge wirelessly, allowing users to quickly and seamlessly charge their phone. This feature also allows the phone to be wirelessly connected to a car for charging and to play music.

The 6.53-inch HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro (RRP £899) will launch in Space Silver exclusively with Carphone Warehouse. It comes with Android 10, EMUI 10 and the Huawei App Gallery. As the device doesn’t include Google Mobiles Services, Carphone and Huawei will have a dedicated VIP support team on hand for customers.

This is surely a test for Huawei to see just how well the market responds to a non-Google Play Android phone. They’ve already confirmed they’re busy working on their own mobile operating system.

Pre-registration is open now and the phone will launch officially on 20th February. Customers who purchase a Mate 30 Pro will also receive a bundled Huawei Watch GT 2 (46mm Black Sport Edition) and a pair of Huawei Freebuds 3.
