An Apple Fan Switching from iPhone to Android | Part 1

You don’t get much of a bigger Apple fan than me. I was the first to get the iPod in all it’s forms and then the iPhone and I absolutely love my MacBook Pro. I even worked for Apple in the UK for several years.

Since the sad demise of Steve however, it is safe to say that the innovation coming out of Cupertino has waned somewhat in my opinion…I’m not sure that even the basic features of my iPhone now match up to what is being offered with some of the new Android smartphones for similar cash. Also I am so fed up of running out of battery on my older iPhone, and I have heard on the grapevine that this is not the case with some of the more recent Android phones with their bigger batteries and faster charging. I’m sure the top spec iPhone also has an impressive battery-life, but I’m using an iPhone 7 at the moment as don’t want to be paying out for the most expensive model, Apple or Android.

As a Mac user and having never used Android before, my first concern switching to an Android phone is the user interface. Will it be as intuitive as Apple for me? I also feel a tinsy bit like I am being unfaithful to the loyal iOS, is that normal?

I am swapping over tonight from my trusty iPhone, over to an Honor 20 Lite, the triple-lens camera it includes is what attracted me to in the first place as I love taking photos.
