Smarty Mobile, the mobile network that runs on Three, has unveiled a new unbeatable SIM only deal, offering 100GB of data for £12.
The offer appeared around this time last year, and is back for 2023 just in time for summer holidays as it includes unlimited calls, texts 5G data and EU roaming, all on a 30 day rolling contract.
Smarty have also confirmed that new and existing customers won’t receive annual price increases as it’s a 30 day rolling plan.
Outside of the headline offer, Smarty are also offering 30GB for £10, which is a good deal if you don’t want to spend more than a tenner, but for an extra £2, you’ll increase that data allowance to 100GB with this new deal.
It’s an impressive offer, considering it’ll cost you nearly twice the amount on Voxi and GiffGaff only offer 25GB for £10 or 120GB for £20. iD Mobile must be thinking its a good deal too, as they’ve matched it.
Smarty remain one of the few mobile networks that include EU roaming as standard – just bear in mind, the data is capped at 12GB for EU use.
Why choose SIM only?
The main benefit of SIM only is that you’re not paying for the actual phone itself, just the data, calls and texts, so the monthly cost is substantially lower. You can use your current phone or buy a new phone separately.
As Smarty offer a 30 day contract, it also means you’re free to switch at short notice if you find a better deal or don’t like the coverage.
Smarty runs on Three’s network which has around 99.5% outdoor coverage in the UK, and 5G is supported (if you’re in a 5G area). Wi-Fi calling and unlimited tethering is also included in the monthly cost.
