The Honor Magic4 Pro flagship phone is launching in the UK with loads of pre-order deals currently being offered by mobile networks and retailers.

The Magic 4 Pro is Honor’s first premium phone to launch in the UK as the brand takes on Samsung, Oppo, Google and OnePlus with it’s own flagship model.

The Magic4 Pro has taken a page from Huawei when it comes to design, not looking to dissimilar to one of their P-series flagships.  The big difference being however, Honor phones include full access to Google services and the Google Play Store, meaning it can truly go head to head with the Samsung S-Series and Google Pixel range.

The headline feature is 100W fast charging – both wired and wireless, if you’ve got the right charging accessories. This is the fastest charging phone you’ll be able to buy in the UK when it launches, and no doubt fast charging will become a key feature phone brands battle over in the coming years.

The phone runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage – just the one size variant for the UK. It’ll be available in black or cyan.

IP68 water and dust resistance come as standard as expected.  The display is a 1312 x 2848 high resolution OLED with a 4,600mAh battery.  Honor also claim that the phone has its own display chipset that can render and upscale content.  We haven’t tested this feature yet.

The triple cameras are impressive (Honor are pretty good when it comes to photography, thanks to their old Huawei influences) – dual 50Mp main and ultrawide sensors work alongside a 64Mp 3.5x periscope lens that can digital zoom to 100x, matching Samsung’s recent S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra phones.
